We made it our mission to meet Connell since he was mentioned in so many reviews, and he was witty, warm and welcoming. Something cute, when Connell refilled my nieces Shirley Temple, she loved that he gave her two cherries!
Two folks ordered burgers which were overcooked - not how they had ordered - but the rest of the food was tasty and filling.
The owner came over to greet us and asked us how everything was.
We picked up the cute t-shirt for a friend, see the pics of front and back.
We will return next time we’re in Wildwood.

No sooner had they started to seat us then they moved us, recognizing the space they had assigned us was too tight--if they are used to accommodating large groups, wouldn't they already have known the space was too tight? In addition, the waiter assigned to us seemed to be new--not fair to him. He was so inept they added another server, which resulted in confusion in who had placed an order, etc.
Second, for a "pub"--they had no beer list! Plus, when I asked for a Yuengling, they were all out, because it had been a busy week and they had run out of different beers. Really?!?!

We got amazing food, all of it incredibly delicious. We learned from our amazing server, Shaun, that it was all made by the chef . Fresh in the back, from the batter and burgers to the pickles themselves.

Shaun was also an amazing server who treated us like friends as soon as we arrived. He recommended us some fantastic foods from personal experience. It was truly wonderful from start to finish. He was attentive, and actively took care of empty tables, seats and new customers all while checking in on us frequently.

10/10 service and food, this is the best food and bar in Wildwood in my opinion, bar none. I’d be more than happy to come again!
